Madeline made homemade Mother's Day cards for all of her aunts.

One of her cards read:

To Aunt Rebecca -

A child only holds your hand for a little while.  Then, they let go to get married.

That one got me where it hurts.

Just Your Average Saturday

Lauren said she was "organizing the kitchen drawers."

Do Not...

...allow your 3 year-old to put Play-Doh in an infant's hair.

Just don't.

Here is an old picture of Lauren nursing one of the American Girl dolls.  Classic.

Maximus Samuel

I would like to introduce my nephew Maximus.  

His name means, "the greatest" ....because he is the greatest miracle!

And believe me Max, you are.

My Favorite Day

Madeline had to construct what her "favorite day" would look like, complete with illustrations.

While I can't do the pictures justice, let me give you a peak into the day:

She would wake up and go swimming.

Eat some cake.

Head to COSI (Science museum)

Swim in the ocean.

Collect seashells.

See a sea horse.

Color.

Head to the park.

See a rainbow.

Sing to God.

Go fishing.

Head to the slopes for some snow skiing.

Make a craft.

Eat some bubble gum.

Go to the circus.

Celebrate Christmas.

Followed by Valentine's Day.

Conclude with a birthday party....for herself.

That is one day I would not want to miss!
