Farmer's Market
Lauren made the most recent trip to the Farmer's Market with me. I let her carry the shopping bag and choose almost all of our goodies. It was so much fun to watch her sweet smile as she transacted with the merchants. $63 dollars later, we had a fridge full of freshly picked, organic fruits and veggies, 1 jar of jam, a pound of organic cheese made from raw, grass-fed cow's milk, 1 bunch of sunflowers and some raw crackers (which I plan to hijack the recipe from ;))

The Gettysburg Address
As Madeline & Abigail have been busy memorizing script lines and dances this week (you had to be 8 to attend drama camp), Lauren wanted her own "script" to memorize and this is what she chose. p.s. I love her adaptation.
Quatro!
And then there were 4.
I remember this moment like it was yesterday. I had just bathed my crew and was enjoying a sweet moment in the nursery as each of them took a turn holding their new baby brother.
(if you look closely you will notice that only Madeline's big toe has a bit of polish on it. Ahhhh, that's more like it! ;))

Only Child.....For Now
Back in the day, when I was Mommy to only one.
(I still have that bathing suit, shorts and shoes, btw. I'm such a dork.)
Mooooo!
For part of Lincoln's birthday celebration, GLAM convinced me to participate in Chick Fil A's "Dress Like a Cow" day.
And then I convinced some of the cousins to join us!
Yes, I also dressed for the occasion. Oh darn, there are no photos of me.

She's Famous!
Honey Cinnamon Pancakes from Maddie
And if that didn't get her excited enough, she received an email yesterday asking if she would be willing to write an article for their Fall issue.
One proud momma,

Happy 4th of July
For the 3rd year, we picked up Grandma & Papa and chauffeured them to and from the fireworks. (before that, I think it had been a couple decades since they'd been)
This has become our favorite part of the 4th of July festivities.

A Moment in Time
Alternately titled: Happy or Stairs
Couldn't pass up the chance to capture a moment of life with Lincoln right now. He's become accustomed to getting his own way and being quite babied.
Recently, Ron & I decided to reel him in a bit
