We had our own, private, Olympic opening ceremony complete with the torch -- or 12 candles...whatever. It wasn't as elaborate as the one in China (that was amazing!) but it was definitely as memorable.
(as I am posting this I am listening to Ron explain the finer points of synchronized diving....all part of his unit study on the Olympics)
